“NFP” is a water based non-toxic, non-skin irritant, non-eye irritant and biodegradable flame retardant. It has been tested under ASTM sanctioned test protocols by third party testing laboratories. Tests have been performed on all species of wood commonly used in construction, as well as other natural fiber materials. The use of “NFP” allows builders and manufacturers to meet and exceed building codes.

NFP can be applied to natural fiber surfaces by spraying, dipping, brushing, and rolling. NFP dries clear and leaves no surface residue on the treated material. NFP will reduce the flame spread and raise the ignition temperature on any unsealed natural material surface. The use of NFP is designed to buy time in a fire and improve response time for fire fighters. NFP is both non-toxic in liquid form as well as during heat and flame attack.

NFP has been used to treat more historical properties across the country than any other product. Historical societies and agencies tend to specify NFP due to its effectiveness, Longevity, economics, and non-toxic properties.

Safe and non-toxic, P215 can be used on natural or synthetic surfaces adjoining the welding or soldering areas such as PVC, wood trim, plastic, or vinyl cabinets. Heat sensitive surfaces can be surfaces can be temporarily covered during heat repair operations and then easily cleaned by wiping the P215 off the treated surface. P215 is water soluble and can be removed with water and a cloth.

P215 is used in numerous industrial applications, where protecting adjacent surfaces from heat and flame is necessary from industrial production to ship building and repair.
